This is my first Christmas away from my mum and dad,
and it’s not so bad. I’m a little home sick but I can handle it, I’m a grown
woman now *whoop*. I’m spending this Christmas with my sister and her family in
Ghana. I’ve been in Ghana for over a month now and it has been so much fun and.
I’ve actually learnt a lot here and I’m happy. It’s interesting how people can
be alike and way different at the same day. From the first day I got into this
country, I was embraced by its simplicity. The people here are so simple in
their way of living and this simplicity itself is kind off complex. I really
don’t know how to explain it much; you’ll have to be here to understand what I’m
trying to say. I love Ghana because the people here embrace their roots and
where they come from. Even though major parts of the population are white
people, they have somehow tried to bring them deeply into their culture and ways.
We have the same skin color, same hair texture and even the same continent, yet
so different. I’m really glad I came here, “charlie!”
I didn’t get to visit all those historical monuments like the castles and
all, maybe I’ll do that when next I visit. See my pictures below. P.S all my make up was done by my sister, shes good at it.
